The tideline, especially at dawn, never diminishes in it’s capacity to engulf me within it’s power and peace as I do my work.


Emerging light and energy along with the sound and breath of the changing tides, the crashing waves, the swirling water embracing rocks, pebbles and sand... always sweeps me away.


I move out of my body and become part of the water and the air as I enter the “zone”,  set my tripod, adjust cameras, lenses and filters without conscious thought, relying more on instinct and experience.
