The Last Glow

The Last Glow was made near Orleans on Cape Cod.  I had scouted this location two weeks earlier and was lucky when I returned as cloud and light conditions evolved dramatically. Shooting at long exposures from my tripod brought some nice energy to the image, but it wasn’t until later as I edited the shoot in my motel room that I realized I had captured the last glow of light backlighting a cresting wave.
 
Dye sublimated aluminum print is offered in Matte, Semi-gloss or Gloss finish and with three framing options — Recessed Float Mount, Black Aluminum Flush Mount and Black Wood Float Frame.  Examples of these framing options can be viewed on our Framing Page.
