MOHEGAN SUNDOWN

MOHEGAN SUNDOWN was photographed in the water, at the beach below Mohegan Bluffs. It is presented here as a 40” X 60” dye sublimated print on aluminum in a white, wood float frame.

I will be showing my photography this weekend at the Wickford Art Festival in Rhode Island. At it’s new venue this year, Wilson Park, the festival will feature 180 juried, fine artists from around the country. I hope you can make it!

MONTAUK DAWN

MONTAUK DAWN was shot near the village of Montauk, NY an hour before a late summer sunrise. I was inspired by the Atlantic pre-dawn light as the timeless, cool grey sky waited for the sun of a new day.

Montauk was named after the Montauket, the Native Americans who first called the area home.

I will be back in the Hamptons this weekend for The Amagansett Fine Art Festival. It will be a great show. I hope you can stop by and say hello!

FOG ON THE FLATS

I recently photographed the tidal flats of Cape Cod Bay at low tide on a couple of dense, foggy mornings. As I walked out into the flats it was quiet and surreal. At times the fog was so heavy that I lost sight of land. These tidal flats are the widest expanse of tidal flats in North America extending almost 10 miles along the coast from Brewster to North Eastham. Images were made near Orleans.
